MOVE EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY SERVICES
WorkCover and Motor Vehicle Accident Rehabilitation
Accredited Exercise Physiologists delivering functional rehabilitation for ReturnToWorkSA and CTP claims, in clinic or in your home.
What we offer
Move EP works with injured workers and people recovering from motor vehicle accidents across the Barossa and Gawler region. Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists focus on restoring the physical capacity a person needs to get back to their job and back to normal life, not on treatment that continues indefinitely.
How we deliver it:
- In clinic. Fully equipped gyms at Gawler (Phoenix Plaza) and Tanunda, plus hydrotherapy where water based rehabilitation is the better starting point.
- Mobile, in the home. For clients who cannot drive, cannot travel comfortably, or need to begin rehabilitation before they can manage a clinic environment.
- Functional focus. Programs built around the physical demands of the person's role and their daily life, rather than generic exercise.
- Graded and progressive. We start where the person actually is, including after long periods of inactivity, and build capacity in measured steps. Aim to transition clients to independent management through group classes and home advice
- Clear reporting. Initial assessment reports, progress updates and discharge summaries provided to referrers, claims agents and treating doctors.
- Coordinated care. We work alongside treating GPs, physiotherapists, psychologists and employers rather than in isolation.
For injured workers and clients
Being off work after an injury takes a toll that goes well beyond the injury itself. Fitness drops away, sleep suffers, confidence in your body disappears, and the longer it goes on the harder it feels to start. That pattern is common, it is well understood, and it responds to the right kind of exercise.
Our job is to rebuild what the injury and the time off have taken away. We assess where your strength, movement and endurance are now, we talk about what your job actually asks of your body, and we build a program that closes the gap between the two. Where movement has become painful or frightening, we work through that gradually rather than pushing you into it.
If getting to the clinic is the barrier, we come to you. Home visits mean rehabilitation can start early, which usually makes the whole recovery shorter. Once you are travelling again, most clients move into the clinic where there is more equipment to work with. We will also be straight with you about progress, including when something is not working and needs a different approach.

For rehabilitation consultants and case managers
We know the difference a responsive provider makes to a claim, so we have set the service up around that.
- Prompt initial appointments. We prioritise new compensable referrals and will confirm booking availability when you make contact.
- Reporting you can use. Objective baseline measures, clearly stated goals, progress against those goals, and honest recommendations at review. Written to support decision making rather than to fill pages.
- Capacity focused outcomes. We frame progress in terms of functional capacity and readiness for suitable duties, and we contribute to graded return to work planning alongside you.
- Defined blocks of service. We work in agreed blocks with review points, so you are never left wondering whether treatment has an endpoint.
- Mobile coverage. Home based delivery for clients with travel restrictions, geographic barriers or early stage presentations.
- Direct communication. One point of contact who will call you back, and who will flag concerns early rather than at the end of an approval period.
Referrals can be sent through to admin@moveep.com.au directly, and we will confirm receipt, approval requirements and the first available appointment.
