MOVE EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY SERVICES

Exercise Physiology for Veterans

Supporting veterans to move well, stay independent and manage their accepted conditions.

Importance of Exercise Physiology for Veterans

Old injuries, service related conditions and the general wear of the years all add up, and they tend to chip away at what you can do without you noticing. Exercise physiology treats the musculoskeletal problems, injuries and ongoing pain underneath that, and the right program can often turn some of it around, whether that is easing persistent pain, steadying your balance or rebuilding strength.

Gold Card and White Card holders are able to access our Exercise Physiology services for the conditions their card covers.

Move Exercise Physiology is a registered DVA provider. If you hold a Veteran Card, you can see one of our Accredited Exercise Physiologists with a referral from your GP. We have attached a link to the DVA904 referral form here:

SESSIONS THAT SUIT YOU

There are many ways to work with us. Some veterans prefer one-on-one support, while others find strength and connection in a room with people who understand what they’re going through.

OUR APPROACH WITH VETERANS

Veterans make up a meaningful part of our community, and our team is comfortable working with the injuries and conditions that come with service. That means being realistic about pain, respecting what your body has already been through, and starting at a level that is achievable for you.
